He has acknowledged this error. He said it was unacceptable. He has publicly expressed his regrets. He undertook to reimburse the amounts he had misappropriated. He was convicted by the courts. Fault-regrets-conviction-reparation. The case is closed. But not for everyone. In its 23 December 2014 edition, <em>Le Temps<\/em> is devoting its front page, editorial and page 3 to the subject. On what pretext? <em>Le Temps<\/em> believes it can prove that Maurice Tornay was an accomplice of Dominique Giroud. This is not true. This question has been clarified by federal investigators, who have cleared the current member of the Council of State of any suspicion of complicity or participation in tax evasion. Once again, the case is closed. The ATS makes no mistake and does not repeat the article in Le Temps. The <em>RTS<\/em> Yes! And how! It was the cavalry that was called to the rescue: the <em>RTS<\/em> pounced on this fake scoop at 12:45, then at Forum, and finally at 19:30. The ATS remains unmoved.
