Im November 2016 reichte Dominique Giroud zwei Zivilklagen gegen den Walliser Boten und die RTS wegen Verletzung der Pers\u00f6nlichkeitsrechte ein. Beide Klagen sind mit Schadenersatzforderungen verbunden. Dominique Giroud fordert von RTS mindestens CHF 15 Millionen; eine erste Anh\u00f6rung findet in K\u00fcrze statt. Mit dem Walliser Boten wurde hingegen eine aussergerichtliche Einigung erzielt. Der Walliser Bote gibt heute ausdr\u00fccklich zu, dass Dominique nie von einem Richter oder Staatsanwalt wegen seiner Weinpraktiken bestraft wurde. Die Zeitung aus Brig gibt ebenfalls zu, dass sie in ihren Artikeln \u00fcber Dominique Giroud \"Fehler\" gemacht habe. Schlie\u00dflich ver\u00f6ffentlichte sie in ihrer heutigen Ausgabe ein langes Interview mit ihm, dessen franz\u00f6sische Version auf ihrer Website abrufbar ist.
